Bangkok Post Database: The Irony of it All

Just stumbled upon an article from the 26 September issue of the Bangkok Post Database written by James Hein.

In this article entitled "Don't ignore your web site's comment area", Mr Hein explains us how on the UNESCO Bangkok Website (to be more precise on the "UNESCO ICT and Education Website" hence the irony..) has been spamed by the Viagra sellers and the likes, and how they should have avoided it and how its bad for the International Organization's reputation.

Well James I guess its about time for a reality check, nobody reads the UNESCO Bangkok website, and nobody reads your columns as well. So really, no fucking big deal...

Update: nobody reads my blog as well, triple irony ...wow

Pedo on the run in SE Asia: SPREAD THE WORD

From the Interpol website:

"INTERPOL is seeking the help of the public to try to identify this man, photographed sexually abusing children in a series of images posted on the Internet.

The photos shown here are from a series of around 200 pictures involving 12 different young boys, believed to have been taken in Vietnam and Cambodia in 2002 or 2003.

These pictures have been produced by specialists from Germany's federal police force, the Bundeskriminalamt, working from originals found on the Internet, which had been digitally altered to disguise the man's face.

Extensive police efforts worldwide to identify the man have so far failed and Interpol is now enlisting the support of the media and the public to help identify him as a priority.

Anyone with information on his identity or whereabouts should contact their local police or INTERPOL's Trafficking in Human Beings Unit via http://www.interpol.int/public/mail/mail3.asp?id=vico "

Nam Prik Pao Alert and Contructive Blogging

Everybody has heard already of the Nam Prik Pao Alert that occurred in London recently. A reuters news that went all around the world and of course all around the Thai blogging scene.

The only worth Thai news in terms of blogging seems to always belong to the "odd news" category, such has the guy who fuck banana logs, or the ladyboy strike and so on. It is to some bloggers around a good way to get away with an easy blog post but to other its just stories on which they can build on.

See for instance this great post from Pim on her blog "Chez Pim" who explains us how to make the now famous Nam Prik Pao, thats what I called constructive Blogging !

Brit Caught Smugling Drugs: that's one lucky Brit

According to news.co.au
"A BRITISH woman is in custody after an internal search revealed she was attempting to smuggle 260 grams of heroin through Sydney airport, the Australian Customs Service says.
The 45-year-old woman was arrested yesterday after arriving on a flight from Bangkok [...] the package of heroin was discovered in her vagina."

If i had the choice, i'll choose any Aussie correctional facilities over the infamous Samut Prakan Central prison, Kangaroo-1 Cockroach -o ! Link
